Want more hairpower? Clip-in extensions are the way to go.

Not every woman is born with thick, strong, healthy strands. But, there’s good news for the limp-haired lady…extensions!

There are many different types of extensions out there in the hair world but I’m here to tell you why I am quite fond of clip-in extensions. When clients ask me about adding additional hair to their head, I have a whole script, if you will, and it sounds like this…

Typically those who want extensions have fine, weak, and often limp hair (sorry but its true). Adding hair achieves length and density. If you opt for a full set of “fused” hair extensions (additional hair attached to your real hair by some form of glue or clamps) you are forcing those weak strands to hold and support the new hair – hair that’s strong, healthy, and HEAVY. Also, as your hair grows out, so does the false hair which means you are back in the salon spending more time and money to maintain these extensions. Also, removal runs the risk of breakage which further exacerbates the original problem of fine, weak hair.

Now, let me tell you why I love, love, LOVE clip-ins!

I, Emily Claire, believe in clip-in extensions.

1. It’s an easy way to change your look without added stress to your hair. When placed in the hair correctly, clip-ins will not damage your hair at all. They are simple to apply and safe to remove.

2. Nobody will know that this isn’t your real hair. Even if your hair is color treated, guess what? Us fabulous colorists at The Root Salon can treat the extensions to match your hair spot on! In order to color them, however, the extension has to be real, 100% human hair. Synthetic hair won’t respond to color or heat for styling.

3. Last but not least, extensions can complete a dramatic transformation. When it comes to major color change or correction, overworked ends are often chopped. With the clip-ins, you can combine your short, fabulous cut with color-matched extensions to give you the length you crave!

Interested? Talk to me! I, Emily Claire (and the rest of The Root Salon stylists), love spending a little extra time with my clients to review the process, find the right clip-ins, and offer styling tips.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
