Want to go to the beach but you aren’t sure where to go? Mexico is a great option since it offers a little bit of everything: food, culture, gorgeous landscapes, and some of the best hotels and resorts in the entire world. But at the end of the day, Mexico will always be known as a beach destination! Here are my 3 top beaches to visit:

1) Isla Mujeres, Quinta Roo

Cancun, Isla Mujeres is a destination in its own right. The main beach of Playa Norte is made of crushed coral, has warm shallow waters, and is much quieter than the beaches across the bay. Scuba divers should take note: The island is home to the largest concentration of whale sharks on the planet.

2) Playa Balandra, La Paz

About 40 minutes outside of La Paz, Playa Balandra is the most picturesque beach in all of Baja California. You won’t find many better places in the area to go snorkeling and swimming—and the views of the desert meeting the ocean are truly second to none.

3) Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur

Last but not least we have Cabo. It is known as a popular tourist destination, especially for spring breakers! It has an amazing beach called ‘Playa del Amor,’ where the tranquil Sea of Cortez meets the rough Pacific Ocean. It’s a white-sand beach surrounded by towering rock formations and endless ocean views.
