This is the good stuff.

This is the good stuff.

Here’s the short answer: Aveda’s Blue Malva Shampoo and Conditioner.

Brassy hair begone!

Today’s Tips & Tricks Tuesday is for all my blondes out there! While it has yet to be proven if we do, in fact, have more fun or not, I can definitely tell you what’s not fun: Brassy, dull, or yellow tones. They’re every blonde’s worst nightmare!

That’s why I live for Aveda’s Blue Malva Shampoo and Conditioner. Not all of us can take the time out of our busy schedules to make an in between appointment to get our hair re-glazed (or what some stylists call “toned”) but we can combat the yellow with Blue Malva.

Blue Malva Shampoo is packed with Aveda’s Signature plant and flower extracts and has an uplifting fruity aroma reminiscent of dark cherry, organic lemon and ylang-ylang. It’s cellulose-derived conditioning agents aid in smoothing and detangling. Amino acids derived from wheat help protect and condition each strand of hair while imparting the lovely cool tones to rebalance your hair. I especially like to use the conditioner as a mask ensuring my hair gets as “ashy” as can be.

The coconut-derived conditioners and wheat protein help condition and detangle my hair making it easier to comb through without creating breakage. Blue Malva is a must-have for all my blonde or gray haired guests. So next time you’re at The Root stop and ask your stylist how Blue Malva shampoo and conditioner can help you!
