This can be so common in the winter and early spring time when dry air is caused by closed doors and windows (especially if the heater is running). Dry air equates to dry hair and that’s a recipe for static!
Believe it or not, the same thing you use to battle static cling in your clothing can also be used for your hair.
We like to teach our clients how to benefit from a great little product called Static Guard.
But before you start spraying away at your hair, please listen! Don’t spray it directly on your tresses. Instead, spray your hands and let them dry. THEN run your hands through your hair. You can also spray your brushes with the product and, again, let it dry before running them through your hair.
Easy, right?
