We're ready. Let's go!

We’re ready. Let’s go!

I LOVE going to the beach. I should have been born on the beach and someday I hope to have a vacation home at the beach. And I have to say, I have gotten pretty good at packing a great beach bag.

I recently bought a new one in Mexico hand made by Brava Beach. My new bag is so cute! It has fuzzy black pom poms on it. It looks great with my favorite Helen Kaminski sun hat.  Of course I take my fully charged phone and headphones so I can enjoy my favorite beach tunes. A super fashionable swimsuit cover up is a must as well in order to enjoy lunch at the beach bar.

I always pack a large ZipLock bag in case I change out of my swim suit. I love taking my own fluffy beach towel and my favorite pair of sunglasses. I also throw in a micro-fiber hair towel to wrap up my hair in and to help with drying it gently while I soak up the sun. Of course, I am safe and lather up with my favorite Aveda sunscreen.

If I get a chance to wash my hair in fresh water near the beach or pool, I take Aveda’s travel size Color Conserve shampoo and conditioner to prevent my hair color from fading. I take my trusty Tangle Teaser to comb out the tangles and work the conditioner through my hair.

I then can tame my wavy hair with Aveda’s Phomalient (also in travel size) and some small hair clips. When my hair is dry I spritz with a little Air Control for hold and I’m ready to change for dinner. Lastly, I like to smooth some vitamin E on to nourish my skin after a day in the sun.
