Does drinking plenty of water help your hair grow?

We all know that drinking plenty of water is a necessary and healthy practice. Those of us that live here in the Arizona desert know that saying hydrated is a must!

But, not only does drinking a good amount of water every day aid in things like weight loss and improved metabolic rate, but it also helps your hair to grow faster.

Around here we like to say, “it all starts at The Root!'”-And, in this case it truly does. A daily habit of drinking enough water helps invigorate and stimulates hair growth from root to tip. Studies show it can also help prevent split ends and a brittle hair texture. Your scalp is the skin that supports your crowning glory and getting enough water daily can encourage a healthier scalp. This means you’ll have fewer chances of developing problems like dryness, itchiness, or dandruff. In the same way water hydrates and replenishes the skin, it can do the same thing for your scalp and can result in beautiful, shiny locks.
