Are you looking for a way to change up your look this season? Has your hairstyle been the same since you could remember?
If you’re saying, “yes!” to all of these questions, you are not alone! A lot of women would have the same answer!
You’ve probably also wondered if bangs are for you. A fast fix for instant style it may seem, but you should really think before you snip.
There are a couple of things you should know before committing to bangs. First, I strongly suggest never cutting them at home. This service is usually free if you already have a regular stylist. Come on in and we’ll walk you through the process.
First, we will discuss your face shape.
If you have a square face, consider getting tapered bangs. If you have a round face, you may have heard that bangs aren’t for you at all. I can tell you that is simply not true! Thick, straight-across bangs will look best on you. Heart shaped faces look great with feathered side-swept bangs. If you’re lucky enough to have an oval face, every type of fringe is flattering on you.
Another thing to consider before you take the plunge is your commitment to styling your hair daily. I ask my clients if they are willing to take a few extra minutes in their morning routine to style their bangs. If you’re unsure about this then bangs probably aren’t for you.
The good news is, hair grows! And if you end up disliking your new fringe, it WILL grow out with some time.
Just remember, talk to us! We can find the best change (fringe or not) for your hair.
