Hi! My name is Haley! I am super excited to be a part of the Root Salon team as I continue to grow throughout my cosmetology journey. I was born & raised in Washington & moved from The Evergreen State in 2019. I am a very outdoorsy person so if I’m not behind the chair or in the salon, I am hiking, swimming, running, or cooking.
I discovered my love for hair, makeup, & fashion at a very young age. As a kid, I would always make a mess getting into my mom’s makeup & playing around in everybody’s hair every chance I got. Getting older, this flourished into me doing hair & makeup for friends during prom, theater shows, etc. Now, I am achieving my dreams of doing makeup & hair for everyone at all kinds of events like TV shows, performances, & podcasts . I am beyond ecstatic to be graduating cosmetology school this upcoming July.
Along with hair and makeup, I have always had a passion for art. Using colors to express a story across a piece of paper is the same way I view hair. Now I am making magic with bright vivid colors, and creating stories with shags, mullets & rad haircuts. I also find it delightful to blonde hair through foil work & hand painting. Finally, I love working with all hair textures & curl patterns, as they are so fun! I look forward to getting to learn from everyone at the Root Salon & expanding my cosmetology knowledge.
