There she is! Hiking with one of her favorite people ever. Her kid. (Of course.)
Last week we celebrated the birthday of someone very important to our team, Lilia. This fantastic lady contributes so much to the success of our small, local business. She is our blog editor, resident public relations writer, and can always be counted on in a pinch to help us put our best foot forward in any number of situations.
Together with our team leader, she launched our local beauty blog “The Root Word” several years ago and it has been a source of great success for our salon.
Our team contributes to the blog twice a week with “Tips & Tricks Tuesdays” and “Blog-Post-Fridays”. We share everything from hair advice to our favorite things to do in Phoenix and even a recipe here and there. Blog entries are sent to our lovely Lilia and she edits and makes us sound fantastic keeping with the style of our blog along the way.
She is artistic, creative, a published author, native Phoenician, avid hiker and devoted wife and mother. Did we mention that she is one of the most loyal friends any one could ask for? Her strength and wisdom has served this grassroots business, its owners and its team very well.
So we say, “Happy Birthday” and a great big, huge “thank you” to Lilia Menconi Kummerer!!
