You’ve heard the saying “you are what you eat.” Your hair is no exception. There are many superfoods that aid in the health of your hair however no one has time to pay that close attention to what they are eating all the time. I am going to talk about 3 simple foods that you can eat that will help you get the beautiful locks of your dreams.
1- Yup, you know it, Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you eat eggs for breakfast, your hair will thank you. Eggs are rich in protein and Biotin. Biotin is essential in the production of hair protein called Keratin. Keratin promotes hair growth.
2- One cup of strawberries (or any other berry) provides your body with 141% of your daily vitamin C and antioxidants. Both are essential to protecting the hair follicle from molecules known as free radicals.
3- One medium sweet potato contains enough beta-carotene for your body to absorb. The body then converts this to Vitamin-A, which promotes production of sebum. Sebum is essential to having healthy hair.
