With our amazing fall weather, it is the beginning of special event season here in Phoenix.
At the Root Salon, we donate to lots of charity events and our very favorite is Teen Lifeline, a peer-to-peer anonymous teen suicide prevention hotline that was founded here in Phoenix.
We personally know a number of people who spent their teen years as volunteers manning the hotline and helping their same-aged hotline callers. It is an amazing organization!
Tomorrow night is their Connections of Hope benefit dinner and auction. We donated a huge beauty basket and gift certificate and we can’t wait to serve the lucky bidder that wins this item.
The benefit is at The Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia and it is such a well-done event. The food is always fantastic and the staff and volunteers always manage to put together a beautiful evening. It is our tenth year to participate and it for sure will not be the last.
If you get the chance to attend next year we can promise that it will be a great time and it will help this very deserving charity.
