So many holiday parties, so little time…to look fabulous.
Listen up, ladies!
I’m sure your calendar is filled because the holidays are here and the parties are every single weekend. But for us professional women, we’re also faced with extended work hours which means we run into the “work hard, play hard” philosophy.
But how can a gal switch her look from work to play if she doesn’t have time to stop at home for a proper beauty refresh?
We’ve got a few tricks up our sleeves to help.
First, change your handbag to a bigger model — something that can hold a small clutch and a make up bag with some essentials. Essentials include a few on-the-go makeup items and don’t forget a travel toothbrush and toothpaste. You will definitely want some room for a cute scarf in your larger handbag and be sure to toss a nice set of holiday pumps in the trunk of your car. Go for shoes that go with everything but have a little glitz and glamor, just in case you don’t have time to change your full ensemble.
When it’s time to clock out of work, head to the bathroom and pull out all the goodies. I like to slap on a set of false lashes, flip upside down and shake that hair all around for a tousled look (tousled, not sex head here, ladies). Tie the scarf around your neck kind of “pink lady” style (you remember Grease, right?). Push the knot to one side. Dab a little fragrance in all the right places, brush your teeth grab a bottle of bubbly on the way and there you go!
Before you hit the party, throw on your party shoes and toss your big bag in the trunk. Tuck your clutch under your arm and hit it!
