Are you looking for a cute & simple summer hairstyle? It’s already hard enough to style your hair in the Arizona heat. So I’m here to help you with 3 easy styles that are super simple, will look so cute and will keep your hair out of your face during the season of heat. These styles will beautifully complement your shorts and sandals on a hot summer day.
First style- a low, sleek bun. My go-to style is a low bun at the base of the neck. To achieve this I start by applying a little bit of hairspray or gel on the outer part of my hair then I brush all my hair into a ponytail at the base of the neck. I secure it into a rubber band, then I take the hair, twist it and wrap around in the same direction to form a bun. I spray again with hairspray for extra hold. Around my face, I will pull forward a couple pieces out to frame my face. If I want an extra flare to the style, I will curl those pieces and add a pair of statement earrings.
The second style- bubble ponytail. This one is a step up from the basic ponytail. This will add a beautiful accent to your ponytails. I start by brushing my hair into a lower ponytail, either sleek or a little messier, making sure its secure with a rubber band. Then about an inch down from the rubber band, secure another rubber band. With the hair in between those rubber bands, slowly start to pull the hair to form into a bubble. Repeat this process throughout the length of your hair and continue this down the ponytail. Then hit each bubble with a little bit of spray and you’re good to go!
Lastly, the half-up, half down look. For the final style, a half-up, half-down is super simple and can add a touch of elegance to any outfit. Gently pull your hair up into a ponytail, taking everything from about the top of the ear to the round of the head, secure that into a rubber band. If you want an extra touch, braid the hair in the ponytail or add a twist! You could also add a cute accessory or some cute floral pieces. Curl it with some waves, spray with hairspray then you’re ready for the day! Hope you can enjoy some of these summer friendly looks!
