It’s time for part 2 of our conditioner series and this week is all about leave in conditioners. Do you know when and how to use it? Some conditioners say it on the bottle but the directions aren’t always clear. Some come as a spray or even as a cream.
At the Root Salon we carry a great array of Alfaparf products. Our in shower conditioners say “leave-in” on the bottle. This doesn’t mean to not rinse. It actually means to apply it, after shampooing, and let it set for a minimum of 3 minutes for best results, then rinse. The Alfaparf detangler comes in a spritz or spray bottle. This is a favorite at the salon. You can use it on towel dried hair after a shampoo or use it on dry hair after a day on the boat, or motorcycle. It’ll help with those tangles before you shower. Last is the conditioning cream. The Smoothing (purple bottle) line by Alfaparf comes in a pump cream. This conditioner can be used to apply to your wet or dry hair and will make combing your hair very easy. A couple huge added benefits of this product is the heat protection up to 450 degrees as well as the UV protection it provides.
