Mosquito Season is upon us a little later than usual. With irrigation and the extra rain from the monsoon, we are getting eaten alive by the pesky insects. Because of the Zika scare and most DEET products not being safe for children, one of our stylists uses this great home remedy.

You will need a 16 oz. spray bottle. Combine:

15 drops pure, organic lavender oil

4 tablespoons pure organic vanilla extract

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

Swirl it around in the spray bottle to mix. Fill the rest of the way with good quality bottled water and keep in the fridge for a longer lasting, highly effective natural repellent.
