Giving great brow.

Giving great brow.

It’s no secret that strong brows are in!

And with this trend comes an unfortunate act: the great brow grow-out. After decades of tweezing to our heart’s content, to achieve this look, its best to start fresh with your eyebrows on full blast before you start shaping.

Here are some tips if you are thinking about giving up the waxing and tweezing to let your natural eyebrow grow back.

Consider your social calendar. No one wants to show up to a wedding or important business function with woolly eyebrows. Be sure to find a solid 4-6 week window when your social calendar is looking light.

Tame the mane. Things will look a little out of control for a while and to help with that, be sure to practice good grooming. A handy tube of eyebrow gel to tame the wild growth and an eyebrow pencil to fill any bald spots can help you create the illusion that you look like this on purpose.

Tweeze…but just a little bit. You can tweeze but be selective. Let most of the brow back in but if you’ve got a wild hair that’s WAY out of bounds, yank that sucker!

Surround yourself with supportive friends and family. This will be a trying time. You may not feel your best. You certainly won’t look your best. So it’s very important you let your loved ones know that you are embarking on this journey so they can support you.

Keep your eye on the prize. Paste a picture of the brows you are hoping to achieve to your mirror. This will get you through your moments of weakness.

Feel ready? Good luck and be strong![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
