Must. Use. Every. Last. Drop!
Don’t you just hate it when you have a tube of cosmetics (like concealer or mascara or even a serum or skincare product) that you know still has a few weeks of use in the container but you can’t get it out? Well, we do.
This handy idea came from one of our regular clients who loves our Aveda lip glosses, mascara and concealer. She could see ample remaining product in the tube but the applicators would not reach it. One morning she placed her concealer tube (with the lid tightly on) into a cup of very warm water. After a few moments of sitting, she removed the tube and shook it very hard like you would a thermometer. The softened concealer moved around in the tube and presto! Our client claims she got three more weeks out of her tube of concealer. She has found success with this trick on her mascara and lip glosses, too.
One of our team members has used this tip for her skincare items that come in “pump” containers that can’t be opened and she says it works like a charm.
