Well, the weather may have unexpectedly turned cool this week but we still haven’t heard from “la jefa” herself. Read on to see what owner Lauren Hart rocked with her summer style…then feel free to apply her tricks when our Phoenix temperatures inevitably snap back to unbearably hot.

What are your top 5 favorite items of clothing, shoes, or accessories in your closet right now?

My favorite items in my closet right now are my Tory Birch black patent leather sandals, a few brightly colored tees from Anne Taylor, a pair of white Paige jeans that fit just right, my fab new “statement necklace” from J. Crew and a striped maxi-skirt by Splendid.

What’s a hot-weather look (hair or clothing) that you tried out this summer?

I would like to try out these cute new wrapped headbands I spied on Pinterest. We have them in the salon now and they look so soft and comfortable. I think they would be great to keep my hair back while I’m at yoga.

What’s a fashion faux-pas you see every summer (and wish you’d never see again)?

I hate to see women wearing sandals that expose un-pedicured feet! Yuck, come on ladies!

Which celebrity or designer is your summer style inspiration?

Nanette Lapore does great looking summer collections. Here dresses and swimwear are my favorite!

What’s a fashion tip or trick you rely on to stay cute even when its 115 degrees out?

I try to wear mostly dresses. They help me stay looking professional and pulled together and they are much cooler than slacks.

Lauren, as always, we are humbled by your fabulous fashion sense.
