While the rest of the country prepares for Daylight Savings Time (starts March 10) we Arizonans will hold tight to our Mountain Standard time.

Our days are finally getting longer and warmer. There are so many wonderful things here in Phoenix to take advantage of in the springtime. The beautiful weather encourages you to get outside and be active.

Maybe it’s a hike (the wildflowers are already blooming like crazy!), a bike ride to your favorite restaurant, or taking the dog on a long walk. Spend the day checking out wildlife while strolling through the Phoenix Zoo. The local restaurant patio scenes are the perfect place to enjoy a meal outside.

Or take a day off and enjoy one of the 10 Spring Training facilities to see your favorite Cactus League team play ball. The stadiums offer fun eats and endless people watching. Don’t wait long as the MLB regular season starts up the beginning of April and all the teams will go home.

For the foodies like myself you can look forward to many upcoming food and beverage festivals. A few that sound awesome are the Flying Burrito Festival on March 9th, Burger Battle on March 22nd, and Agave on the Rocks on March 29th.

There are so many different ways to enjoy the weather it makes us really appreciate this great city and all it has to offer!
