She Said Yes!

There is big news for one of our senior team members!

Congratulations to our beautiful Emily B. — she just got engaged!

Emily and her fantastic girlfriend Caitlin have been together for over three years and it seems to be a match made in heaven. The couple just bought their first home together earlier this year. Caitlin popped the big question two weeks ago at their house-warming party. Family and friends stood by in support and Emily was completely surprised and overwhelmed.

When Emily finally caught her breath she, of course, said yes!

With her beautiful eye make-up running everywhere, she flaunted her stunning new ring. Caitlin even handed her a new, custom wine glass that read, “newly engaged”. The whole evening was full of exuberant energy and love. Emily is a pretty sharp cookie and it’s tough to get one past her. Congrats to Caitlin for pulling off a total surprise!

And, of course, with our wedding-obsessed crowd, we’ll have lots of fun in the salon over the next few months listening to all the plans for their big day.

The couple has talked of a early November ceremony in a state that recognizes same-sex marriage. They both have tons of friends and large supportive families. They are considering a large reception back here at home. It should be one heck of a good time!
