New Neighbors for The Root Salon

Booty barre.

We have new neighbors!

Wildflower Bread Company has finally started construction at Crown on Seventh and we are super happy! They have taken their sweet time about getting moving but we are beginning to see changes in the suite just to the north of us. We hear that they will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week and have two different patios. We are so happy we won’t have to go far for lunch and, if you get hungry at one of your visits, we will be happy to place your to go order for you.

On the more immediate side of things, TenPoint 5 Barre Studio has officially opened their Central Phoenix location just two doors down from us at Crown on Seventh. Sarah, the owner, has been very hard at work getting her third location up and running (this chick has tons of energy).

In anticipation of their grand opening we got busy assembling favors for her new students. Our goodie bags were chock full of sample products (thank you Aveda and Alfaparf), discount cards and even a chocolate truffle. On opening weekend a few of us ladies took our first class and let us tell you, barre exercise is no joke. We were sore in places we didn’t existed! But, it was fun! Like, really fun. The music is loud, well-selected, and motivating. Sarah and her team of “barre tenders” are super helpful when it comes to form advice and encouragement.

We decided that the “beer barre class” co-sponsored by Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen was a little to much for us but watching it was a hoot. Need to know a little bit about the practice of barre exercise and our new neighbor, check Sarah out here.

Welcome to the neighborhood guys!
