Don’t give up on resolutions just yet!

Did you go into the new year with high expectations to start fresh with a body cleanse or implement a new workout regimen? How are you doing?

If you’re anything like me, (or human 😜) the struggle can be difficult to stay motivated and focused. I’m here to help!!!

I’ve made a list of simple ways to continue making health-conscious decisions in your day to day life and keep you motivated. Be gentle on yourself and give yourself a pat on the back for making it this far. An easy way to start is to pick one off the list (the one that sounds super easy to you) and focus on it for one week. Once you’ve mastered it, move on to the next. All it takes are small commitments at an incremental pace and before you know it, you’re living a healthier lifestyle!

Here are some ideas:

Drink more water
Get a little sunshine each day
Practice reading ingredient labels when shopping and avoid sneaky sugars
Go to bed a little earlier
Get in cardio a couple times/week
Drink less alcohol but if you must, red wine is best
Cut out bread and pay more attention to portion sizes
Eat more nuts and fish
Don’t forget to moisturize and protect your skin with SPF
Find a health blog you love and read it
