I WANT!

I WANT!

It’s really no shock to us that when the weather gets hotter, our clients want to go lighter.

I’m no exception this summer. I’ve been slowly inching away from the ombré trend by getting my lightened color closer and closer to the root. Of course, it’s all strategic! This is exactly on trend for those of us who rocked the full-on ombré look from yesteryear.

Speaking of trends that have faded from my personal look, I had to say goodbye to bright jewel tones. Back when I was in my 20’s, I showed off hot pink, purple, and platinum. I won’t disclose exactly how old I am today but suffice it to say that such wild looks aren’t quite age appropriate.

Still, I think I have some room for a little adventure. In fact, I was recently inspired by a color formula I discovered in one of our professional beauty magazines for a “smoky pink”. I am just dying to get one of our fabulous Root Salon stylists to use this unique color for lowlights among my light blonde strands. I think smoky pink lowlights would look amazing and age appropriate!

I’m willing to bet that these subtle tones (unique but not too wild) will be a big hit with ladies who are closing out their 20’s but still want to make a memorable impact with their color.

Do you want this look as bad as I do? You can have it…it’s just a phone call away!
