So a few weeks ago, we talked about heavy bangs being a big trend this fall thanks to Kylie Jenner. And while we always recommend a free consultation with one of our team members when you’re considering a new cut, here are five ways for you to know you’re ready to get banged.

#1 It’s been a while.
If the last time you had bangs was when your mom cut them for you the day before fourth grade picture day, it might be time to give this look another whirl. Bangs probably looked pretty cute on you then and they’ll probably look pretty cute on you now!

#2 You’re concerned about wrinkles.
Let’s face it, bangs are the perfect way to cover up the small lines we all inevitably get as we spend years squinting to read beauty blogs on our smart phones. And while botox could fix this unfortunate side effect, bangs are cheaper and a lot less creepy.

#3 Your eyebrows aren’t your strongest feature.
If you take after Whoopi Goldberg in the eyebrow arena, then a healthy fringe above your eyes can really help fill in the gaps. Bangs can be used to frame your eyes when the brows aren’t getting the job done.

#4 Your eyebrows ARE your best feature.
If you’re going for a memorable look, a face with strong brows and bangs could be just the ticket. With both bangs and brow, your eyes will be all like kaBLAMMO!

#5 You want a change…but not too big of a change.
On the spectrum of, “just a trim” to, “what the heck, let’s go for the pixie”, bangs fall right in the middle. It’s just enough of a change to give you a new lease on life without being freaking out your boyfriend or husband.
