Easy waves or curls look best with layers.

Long, thick hair looks beautiful half up.

Sure, we’re excited for the summer to end because of the heat. But, we’re downright ecstatic for the summer to end because that means it will be our fall wedding season! Since most people don’t get married here when it’s an inferno outside, we don’t do too many updos during the summer. (Unless we just play around on our own hair.)

So, what can you expect if you want to be a Root Salon bride this fall? Read on for the whole run-down.

We do brides and bridal parties in the salon or on site. We recommend brides coming in for a trial run before the big day so that we can get to know you and your hair. That way we can play around with a few different styles to find the one that makes you feel the most beautiful.

A beautiful low chignon was the perfect fit for this bride.

A low updo was the perfect fit for this bride.

Some things to keep in mind for your updo: long, thick hair looks great half up. If you are wearing it all up, don’t put it too high up on your head, otherwise you might have a headache by the end of the night. If you have one length hair, it’s hard to get that loosely pinned, soft curls look. It really needs to be shoulder length, or a little longer and layered. If you have fine, thin hair you should keep it simple. A low chignon, French twist, or maybe just curled and down.

We can help you figure out which style will last all night on your hair type. We’d also like to talk about what style of wedding you’re having, what updo will look best with your dress type, and overall theme of your wedding.

Come in for a consultation and let us help you!
