She bangs!

When you’re itching for a change but don’t want to take the plunge with drastic layers or a major color transformation, chopping some bangs is the answer!

There are so many different bangs to choose from…side swept bangs (for short foreheads), full frontal visor bangs (for total forehead coverage), or a few quick snips to shorten some pieces to touch your cheekbones (for bone-structure benefit). Seriously, there are plenty bang styles out there for you to choose from and we can help you to make the best decision for your face’s shape.

Okay, so, now that you and your Root Salon stylist has banged it out, here’s a tip for second-day bangs.

Yes, this does exist. I know what you’re thinking…Phoenix is hot, hot, hot. And hot, hot, hot means sweaty, clumpy, separated bangs. Not cute.

To avoid this mess, do a bang-up while you cleanse your face. Wet your bangs and use a little shampoo to re-vamp your new tendrils. Hit them with the blow dryer and round brush — you’ll be good as new.

Rule of thumb with bangs: Keep them clean, fresh, and styled to achieve a spicy everyday look!
