Pedicures. Technically, you should get your toes done every two weeks. But in the winter months, your toes often go into hiding. Still, you don’t want to peel off your boots at the end of the day to reveal neglected, scraggly, old-man-wizard toes.
Here’s how to make that pedicure last just a littttle longer.
Choose a light color. A very soft pink or peach hue is close enough to your natural nail color that regrowth won’t be as noticeable.
Do some maintenance. Okay, so you may not have time for the royal treatment but you could probably trim your nails, push the cuticles, and scrub your heels in about ten minutes. The polish may not look fresh but the rest of your foot can!
Cheat with a quick coat. If your polish has chipped or the regrowth is very noticeable, grab a bottle of nail polish of a similar color and throw on single coat. That will buy you a few more days.
Know when enough is enough. So if you’re hitting the four week mark, it’s time to give up the game. Get a professional pedicure so you won’t have hooves come spring!
