This Tips & Tricks Tuesday, we’re back at keeping you looking gorgeous and stylish during your workout. Let’s say running’s your thing (in this heat?!?!? More power to you!).

As a stunning runner, you’ll need to keep your hair out and away from your face, without having to constantly adjust. We think a twisted headband into a low pony is perfect.

First, create a horizontal part from just in front of your hair, four inches back from your hairline, over to the other ear. Begin twisting at one side of your part as you pick up hair, moving down toward your ear. Hold that side secure with a bobby pin, and do the same thing with the other side of your part, twisting and picking up more hair as you go. After you reach your ear, braid the remaining hair in the strand, secure with a small elastic on each side, then swoop the remaining hair on the back hemisphere of your head into a low ponytail. Now take the front strands that have been hanging down, and wrap them around the base of your ponytail and secure with a bobby pin.

You’re set to take off running! Just make sure to drink plenty of water and wear your sunscreen!
