If you have curly or wavy hair, you know getting your routine right is no easy task. Luckily for you there are so many stylists, and products to help you get there!
The first step is to identify what type of curl/waves you have. This Aveda chart shows the different curl types and what category you would be in for the Nutriplenish products, which I cannot recommend enough.
Once you determine which product types to use, it’s time to get your products and start your routine. First step is a good shampoo and conditioner. For your product it definitely depends on your hair type. If you find yourself in the light moisture category, Leave-in Conditioner, and Hair Oil are your friends. If you have a little more wave I would also throw in a curl cream. If you find yourself in the deep moisture category, leave-in conditioner, hair oil, gel or curl cream, and depending on your preference a mousse. After your shower, scrunch out moisture with a microfiber towel, use as little motions as possible to prevent frizz. Next scrunch in your products one by one ensuring you’re covering your hair. A wide tooth comb is the best way to detangle and comb in your product. Whether you diffuse or air dry your hair I recommend leaving your hair lightly wrapped in a microfiber towel until it’s more damp than wet. This will help prevent frizz as well. The Aveda Nutriplenish line has all your product needs and uses Pomegranate oil, Mango Butter, and Coconut oil to ensure your curls or waves stay hydrated in this Arizona heat.
