The Root Salon is an Aveda partner salon that embraces the environmental culture put forth by Aveda. We are a Green Circle Salon that recycles every type of salon waste that we can to preserve our planet and reduce our carbon footprint. We are also one of only 30 businesses that have been certified as sustainably “green” by Local First Arizona. Education is done in house on a daily basis, weekly basis and monthly basis. Want to learn outside of our salon? We are all for education and will pay for half of your tuition to all outside education. We strongly encourage you to share your newly found knowledge with the rest of the team. We do not “departmentalize” our service providers.We want to empower you to be the most skilled technician that you can be. Our team is very well rounded with specialties that run a broad spectrum of trending services and techniques. They are experts in their fields and fabulous people to learn from. The color education is provided by a master colorist who has taught the color line all over the globe. Additionally, we are an Alfaparf Milano flagship salon. We are privy to priority education from the company and are privileged to use their quality products on our back bar to give our guests the best possible results. The design education is provided by a master Sassoon educator who is nationally recognized. He is patient, highly skilled and willing to go the extra mile for each and every team member to help them feel the most confident and prepared.
