Beautiful hair and the digital age come together!
Last month, we were asked by Salon Today Magazine to describe how our salon is embracing mobile technology.
We sent some quick info about how we use mobile technology to provide a better guest experience and how we use it to manage our team while members are in or out of the salon. And, of course, we sent in a photo from (you guessed it) a mobile device.
The July/August edition of the magazine just arrived and our team was absolutely thrilled to see that The Root Salon is featured as one of the top salons across the country that use mobile capabilities!
Some of the ways that we harness the mobile web for our benefit include streamlining guest check in and check out from our mobile devices. Each team member has the ability to pre-book appointments, update guest color profiles and close out a sale from any place in the salon. We even have a mobile Bluetooth merchant terminal to close out credit card sales as our guests sit comfortably while their hair color processes. This also keeps our front desk staff available to greet guests and receive phone calls from new clients.
Most of you are reading this from your mobile device. But did you know you can book an appointment, click to call, and add our site to your apps? Swipe around and try it out. We know how important convenience is to our guests.
But it’s not all about our website. We’ve had tons of fun loading our Pinterest page with color inspirations and current styles. Consider this our way of reaching out digitally to current and future clients for a kind of “digital consultation”.
