This is the one we’ve been waiting for…it’s time for another Root Salon Stylist Questionnaire with the one and only Jillian Jorgensen!
1. What’s your favorite head to toe look you’ve worn in the past 6 months?
My favorite outfit in last 6 months is my corduroy pants, tee shirt, plaid button up, leather boots,and leather biker jacket…complete with my motorcycle helmet sitting atop my boyfriend’s Harley for a ride!
2. What’s a head to toe look you can’t wait to try out in the fall and winter season?
Can’t wait to try Sweaters! Sweaters with everything; skirts, pants, jeans, heels, boots, sneakers! I’m loving all the sweaters on the runway for fall.
3. What’s the wildest or most fashion forward look you’ve ever sported?
It has to be the outfit I wore at my best girlfriend’s 30th birthday 5 years ago in Las Vegas. I had to “bring it” as it was an all girls trip to Sin City, so I wore sequin gold leggings and a black blazer with strong shoulder pads. All I had underneath the blazer was silver sequin pasties! Ha! With black stilettos and red lips!! Wildest outfit I’ve ever worn, hands down.
4. What’s a hair trend that you wish was still in style?
Mullet- sounds crazy I know, but I love me a good mullet. I had one for about 6 months and it was one of my favorite hairstyles to date! It was definitely a “chic” mullet though…as hip as one can be. But it was fun, as I believe hair should be embraced as such. Not a scary, fearful thing. Confidence is always one’s best accessory, so if you have a mullet, rock it!!
5. What’s your #1 source for hair, fashion, and general style inspiration?
RIHANNA RIHANNA RIHANNA. She wasn’t given Style Icon of the Year for nothing! Girl can do no wrong in my eyes. She is who she is and it shows through all she does: fashion, hair, makeup and music. I admire her versatility, she can be glam, street, fashion forward or laid back and beachy. She is cool and confident and it shows in everything she does!
