The International Beauty Show delivers!
There are many perks of being a hairstylist, from getting your hair products at cost, having friends that can do your hair in exchange for lunch, to the schedule flexibility — the list goes on!
This weekend, I got to enjoy another perk of being a hair stylist, the International Beauty Show in Las Vegas. It was located at The Las Vegas Convention Center and had everything from live demonstrations of cuts and colors to every product you can imagine in the realm of hair, skin, and nails. It was incredibly inspiring chatting with some extremely talented artists and learning about new technologies and tools to help perfect our craft.
Another thing I thoroughly enjoyed was the people watching. Lots of stylists like to express themselves through their sense of style so, naturally, the outfits and styling sometimes got a little crazy (in a good way). On top of that, the other half of The Convention Center was hosting Comic Con, where the characters really come out and enjoy themselves.
All in all, it was a great weekend!
