Whatever Happened to Happy?

In this day and age, the internet has become a necessity. With this, comes a lot of information. Information that we are constantly, continuously, and consistently taking in at a high speed and volume. This can be a constant distraction from actions that can lead to happiness.

Happiness is hard. But we all deserve it. Don’t wait for it, take it!

Of course, a large part of our personal happiness comes from our ability to take care of our family, friends, and others. Often we do this because we need to and want to. But another part of happiness is rewarding ourselves for what we do. Are you treating yourself on ANY level often? How we treat ourselves is just as important as how we treat others!

Sometimes it’s easier to do things for others over yourself. But it’s okay to reward yourself; this is not a selfish act. Yet we convince ourselves that it is. We convince ourselves of why we shouldn’t. Doing nice things for ourselves is an easy thing to do “later”.

We are worthy. You are worthy.

So whether you are having a morning of shopping and then taking yourself out to lunch, getting your hair done, or taking dance lessons; you owe it to yourself to remember that you’re important and deserving of giving to yourself.
