One amazing product within the Absolut Repair Cellular line is the Cleansing Balm. Now, a cleansing balm is much different than your ordinary shampoo. First, it’s composed of 1/4 cleanser and 3/4 conditioner. This composition allows for a more gentle cleanse. Second, it incorporates the main ingredient in the entire absolute repair line: lactic acid. Lactic acid penetrates deep in to the cortex of the hair (Zone C) to repair the ionic junctions, providing strength and elasticity. The lactic acid is able to create saline bonds between the keratin chains, deep within the innermost part of damaged hair. This results in hair that has transformed into soft, supple, healthy hair. Third, this cleansing balm targets all 3 zones of the hair, delivering overall nourishment to the entire hair strand.
To use the product, apply generously to the roots while the hair is wet. Gently work in the hair and spread evenly along the mid strands and ends. Leave on for 2-3 minutes and then rinse out. One would want to alternate the cleansing balm with a regular shampoo, every other wash to ensure an overall cleanse of scalp and hair.
