This serum is serious about hair repair.
As we mentioned last week, the L’Oreal Absolute Repair line has been redesigned to deliver the latest in hair care technology. We will be reviewing these products one by one and this week, we bring you the Absolute Repair Lipidium Serum.
First, let’s talk about who should use this product. Clients who would be great candidates for this serum would be :
- Ladies and gents who have been burned by over-bleaching or foil color treatments (at other salons, of course)
- Clients who are cutting back on cuts and trims to grow out their hair
- Folks with naturally over-dry hair or “weak” locks
- All clients who wish to strengthen their hair
This product penetrates deep in to the third layer of the hair to help rebuild and reconstruct. To use it properly, follow these simple steps:
- Shampoo and condition your hair as usual
- Apply the serum to damp hair first, then apply your usual styling product if need be
- Blow dry
How does it work? While blow drying, the hair cuticle is opened up and the heat activates the serum. This process puts the lipidium to work. What is lipidium, you say? It is a new formulation by L’Oreal and it contains lactic acid, keratin and ceramide to reconstruct and rebuild hair from the inside out while locking in nutrients and lipids.
If your hair is in need of major help (we’ll let you know if it is), the serum should be used after every hair wash. Those of you who like to skip the cut every other appointment can afford to use it every other wash or even once a week.
