What are your top 5 favorite items of clothing, shoes, or accessories in your closet right now?

My black and white Nike high tops; turban; black and cream A-line skirt; round sunnies; and anything white, navy blue, red, or orange.

What’s a hot-weather look (hair or clothing) that you’d like to try out this summer?

I’m trying to dress more “grown up” so I’ve been trying to wear more button-ups. Hair-wise: Slick chignon with a deep side part.

What’s a fashion faux-pas you see every summer (and wish you’d never see again)?

Fedoras. So 2007…get with the times.

Which celebrity or designer is your summer style inspiration?

None. I dress every day based on how I feel and what music I’m listening to. I usually get inspiration from people I see out on the streets or customers that come into the shop.

What’s a fashion tip or trick you rely on to stay cute even when its 115 degrees out?

I wear bright colors that go well with my skin tone and lots of braids!
