For several years now we have been a partner of Green circle Salons’ recycling solution for salons and spas. Created by its Founder and CEO alongside beauty industry leaders, their award-winning program empowers salons to offset their emissions and recover up to 95% of their beauty waste. That includes previously unrecoverable materials and hard-to-recycle items like hair clippings, foils, excess hair color, aerosol cans, and color tubes.
The companies’ goal is to help salons and spas be green, build revenue, gain clients, and save money in a way that’s ethical and simple. They do that while also ensuring that their own operations and practices are carbon neutral and sustainable.
We are blessed to be able to say that we are part of Local First Arizona’s Green Certified Business group and we are proud to have made the cut to have been accepted into this small but elite group. Local First Arizona’s sustainability programs focus on both businesses and the community, helping local businesses prepare for the future by finding solutions to lessen their impact and empowering citizens and businesses to play a role in making Arizona a resilient state.
