You don’t have to have your own personal stylist to have a different hairstyle every day. In fact, no matter the length of your hair, there are lots of ways to mix it up throughout the week. Take it from me, I’ve had super short (pixie cut) to long (middle of my back) hair, and I’ve loved figuring out different things to do with it at different lengths.

With a pixie cut, you have your choice of wearing it spikey/piecey or smooth. For even more variety, use accessories like headbands and small barrettes.
Medium Length Hair

Day one is usually blown out and smooth. Day two is curled with a curling iron and worn down. And for day three, I’ll usually spruce up the existing curls (or add a little more). Then I’ll either put it behind one ear and do a deeper side part or I’ll just pull the very top fringe area back with a couple bobby pins. My hair is just past my chin now, above my shoulders so I can put it in a small ponytail if I’m working out, (or don’t want to fix it). I still only wash it once or twice a week, too!

Long hair (past your shoulders) is the most versatile as far as different styles you can do. The same options exist with medium style hair but the bonus here is long hair is excellent for braids! Definitely incorporate braids into day two or day three hair. If you don’t know how to braid, there are tons of great instructional videos on YouTube. Long hair makes for an awesome messy topknot which I usually save for the very last day before I wash my hair.
Ask your stylist next time you’re in the salon what different looks you can do with your haircut.
